We believe in a practice we coined corporate tithing. 10% of our profits go to charities that support minority entrepreneurship and the environment.
Streetwear Meets Athleisure
Most athleisure brands have their roots in yoga and meditation. But that's not where athleisure was created. It was created by urban black millennials. Remember those warm-up track pants?
We did not grow up practicing yoga. We grew up playing ball. We wore streetwear brands like FUBU, Phat Farm, and Sean John. Like other millennials, we grew up. And so should our gear.
We create Rugged Black as the natural extension to those brands. Modern upgrades to streetwear with an eye out for performance and comfort.

Hi guys, I'm Matt Addison, cofounder of Rugged Black. I started RBLK with my wife, Allison, because we wanted to build a responsible brand that means more than just great products.
When you buy one of our products, we stand behind it 100%. If you don't like the gear you bought, we'll take it back. No questions asked. We believe there's so much more good that can come from a black-owned company than just being a token example or feel good story.
We believe Rugged Black can affect real change in the greater community. A responsible company with old-school values. Doing things the right way. Profits will never be our main concern. You are.
